NextHop LLC was founded in 2014 by CCIE professionals who saw networks getting larger, more regulated, and harder to change safely.
We work on firewalls, data center fabrics, migrations, and cloud connectivity—the unglamorous work that keeps businesses running. When automation helps, we use it deliberately; when it does not, we do not pretend otherwise.
The Shift
NextHop started with a practical observation: many teams still relied on manual changes, long maintenance windows, and tribal knowledge locked in spreadsheets and old runbooks.
At the same time, generic automation pitches often ignored routing policy, change control, and what happens when a cutover goes wrong. We focused on engineering outcomes—stable designs, tested migrations, and tooling that fits how your team actually operates.
